Role of Nurse Practitioner Discussion
The role of the nurse practitioner was mainly developed for the provision of care for those that were underserved. This is a role that is said have emerged in the 1960s. The nurses in late 1800 resemble those that are thee today according to Julie Ward. Those that were at the New York streets used to provide care for the immigrants by treating their most common illnesses as well as the emergencies that could not be referred to the min hospitals (Spoelstra & Robbins, 2010). Also, the role of the nurse practitioner was to advance the medical profession of these nurses. However, it was also to provide the medical attention p with those that were in the rural areas as well as the areas that qualified to be underserved. Role of Nurse Practitioner Discussion

I expect to experience various skills in this process of transitioning my role from RN to APN. The role transition that takes place from the registered nurses (RN) to the advanced nurse practitioner (ANP) is one of the most challenging issues for the nurses. An advanced practitioner has to demonstrate the expertise practice and special type of knowledge (Spoelstra & Robbins, 2010). They also have the responsibility to b countable for the members of the public and the families of the sick people. The main transition ensures that there are sufficient depth and better focus that is different from the other content areas. They lo perform excellent physical health and pharmacology.
Clinical experience where the assessment and plan for treatment were not according to clinical guidelines was when the nursing practitioner failed to perform the right diagnosis and treatment for the patient as described in the treatment plan. What I would do differently is to start the assessment as soon as the patient arrives in the hospital according to the guidelines to improve the patient outcome. I would give the patient the right treatment to ensure that he is healthy(Stewart, and DeNisco, 2019 However, because of the political, and social conditions, it was seen that he could be one of the most cost-effective was of providing the health care services to those that could not afford them and those that were at the underserved areas. Professionalism as a nurse practitioner to me means achieving a healthy working environment to give the patient the best healthcare services. The roles of the NP programs are to address the shortage of physicians at various places (Spoelstra & Robbins, 2010). The first state that adopted the Nursing program was in Idaho State. The state allowed the nurse to conduct diagnosis and treatment at the hospitals.
According to my personal belief, the three most important components or identifiers of professionalism as an NP are accountability, communication and consistency. Through accountability, a nursing practitioner would be able to look for different ways of taking responsibilities. Communication means avoiding comments that might make the client uncomfortable but listening to them to help them. Consistency means treating the patient with the same respect as you always do.
I can see the NP practice affecting health outcomes of populations in various ways. Nursing practice affects the health outcome of the population through the care coordinator, community-based facilitator and primary care partner programs to improve the patient outcomes (Spoelstra & Robbins, 2010). NP practices meant to improve the professionalism of the nurse’s order to make the difference and gain autonomy. Additionally, the role of a nurse practitioner has become an important issue in the healthcare world today.
